We’re Greg and Tammy Dean, a husband-and-wife team celebrating 44 years of marriage and a shared passion for hospitality, education, and unforgettable experiences. What began as a love of wine evolved into a deeper journey through vineyards, distilleries, classic cocktails, culinary pairings, and the cultures that bring them all to life.

Greg holds a Level III certification from Gallo University, a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines certification, and is awaiting WSET Level 3 results while continuing his pursuit of advanced wine education through the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Society of Wine Educators. Greg and Tammy have also recently earned their Certified Bourbon Steward credentials, further expanding their passion and knowledge of American whiskey and bourbon traditions. Tammy is certified through the Court of Master Sommeliers at Level 1 and brings her own warmth, perspective, and passion to every shared experience.

Together, we explore everything from approachable everyday pairings to obscure varietals, historic cocktails, hidden gems, and destination-worthy dining experiences. SOMM&SOMM was created to make the world of wine and spirits feel welcoming, conversational, and rooted in connection rather than pretension.
